1. What are my career opportunities?
    In Polaris we constantly strive to provide our Associates meaningful career opportunities. We have an Internal Job Posting system wherein all the open jobs in the company are posted. If any particular opportunity matches your interests, you can apply for it provided you have spent a minimum of 18 months in your current assignment. Your career progression would depend on your Performance and the skill sets that you equip yourself with. Constantly Onsite opportunities come up for which one can apply. In summary, there are plenty of opportunities, appropriate vehicles for career progression. What is required is the individual Associate's will to perform and his/her skills.


  2. What is the compensation structure?
    The compensation structure in Polaris is very competitive to the market. We constantly carry out benchmarking studies involving reputed Consultants and ensure that our Associates are pegged at a competitive level. Our "Premium" Associates are at the 90th percentile, "Outstanding" at 75th percentile. The structuring of the package is also very flexible which provides scope to the Associate to plan his/her tax liability.


  3. What kind of work culture can I expect?
    We believe that work must be Fun. Hence, there are very focused programmes like Stream Outing, ReachOut, Bonzer, JLT Parties which ensure that the work place is kept enlivened. Culture is one of openness and transparency.


  4. What will be my career path?
    There is no defined career path. How you grow your career is dependent on your performance and how you take up the opportunities that exist in the organization. There are opportunities constantly coming up in the organization which provide adequate avenues for growth.


  5. Will I be transferred to any of the locations?
    Yes. If you want to join Polaris, mobility must be an acceptable condition for you. However, we move Associates only for growth and higher responsibilities.

  10. You have indicated positions in 12 locations whereas the offices that
    you have is only in 6 locations - Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai,

    We have four locations in India - Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Gurgaon and eight locations overseas - two in USA, and one each in UK, Germany, Middle East, Singapore, Japan, and Australia.
