19. My resume can exist with 3 privacy setting
(see question No 7). When I apply online for a specific job posting
using my private resume, does the employer get to see my entire resume/contact
information?
When you apply online with your private resume, all information that is
in your resume ( including your contact info) can be viewed by the employer.
20.
I am not getting any hits on my resume. Am I doing something wrong?
Check the "active" status of your resume. Also check how long it has been
since you last updated your resume. If it's been over 120 days, the resume
is deactivated from our database. In case you need help, mail us at [email protected]
.
21.
How many resumes can I build and store on Careermosaicindia?
You can build and store up to three resumes in different formats, which
highlight various aspects of your skill sets or personality. However, at
any given time, only one resume can be "active" in our database. The active
resume is the one that is seen by the employer during any resume search.
You can change the status of any of your resumes from inactive to active
and vice versa at any time.
22.
If I change the confidentiality preference for one of my three resumes
does that change the confidentiality settings for all resumes?
Yes. Only one privacy setting applies to all your resumes. To change the
privacy setting, go to "confidentiality preferences" at the end of any resume.
Choose your privacy setting. Having completed that you will see a message
display "The confidentiality setting for your resumes has been changed".
Click "OK" if you are satisfied or "ReDo" to modify the confidentiality
setting.
23.
I keep trying to submit the resume but I keep getting the same page
back time after time. What could be wrong?
Check
if all the mandatory fields have been completed by you. Your resume will
not be accepted until this requirement is met. If you still face a problem,
mail us immediately at [email protected]. We highly appreciate
your cooperation in helping us run the site better.
24. What is the online testing service all about?
The online testing and validation service is a skill set validation service
invoked by potential employers to separate the serious candidates from the
rest. This service is optional for the employer. The tests are sourced from
our alliance partner Reviewnet.com - the leading online testing service.
The service is currently available only for IT and related skill set validation.
For example if a candidate wishes to apply for a job posting requiring skills
in Java programming, he/she would have to take a randomized test on Java
programming skills and, if the employer so desires, must score a mandatory
minimum number of marks to be eligible to post his resume for that job opening.
If the candidate declines to take the test and forwards his resume anyway,
he/she is awarded a score of zero and this score is sent along with his/her
resume. The test should be seen less as an obstacle for the candidate and
more as a benchmark towards which the candidate should strive to upgrade
himself/herself. You will also get an opportunity to take technical skill
tests in new technologies when u register.
