Assessment for Voice Process

For any recruitments relating to voice based processes, the following modes of assessment are followed

Verbal communication skills

  1. Written test to check the level of competence in basic grammar and English.
  2. Voice and Accent assessment by Internal trainer. This is conducted with the use of a reading test focusing on important sounds and pronunciations.
  3. Voice and accent test administered by an impaneled third party service provider. It is mandatory that the selects score the minimum score as specified by the third party to qualify for the next round of selection.
  4. Only candidates clearing both the Internal and External are selected into voice bases processes. A record is also made of the suggested training hours and methodology by the External and Internal assessors.

Listening skills

Potential hires listen to audio files in British or American Accent. This is followed by a question and answer session to evaluate their comprehension skills.

Analytical skills

Written test to evaluate verbal aptitude, quantitative aptitude, reading comprehension etc.

Computer Skills

Written test to analyze an applicant's basic knowledge on Networking, Operating Systems etc.

Customer Service skills

Assessed during the one to one discussions with specific questions focused on Responsiveness, clear communication, personal responsibility, ability to maintain effective client relationships, ability to contribute to positive outcomes for the client, meet long-term client needs etc.

Assessment for Non Voice Process

Assessment for Non Voice Process includes Analytical skills test, Computer Skills test and Domain Specific test (incase of lateral hires).

Assessment for Lateral Hires

Assessment methodology for lateral hires ensures the review and validation of selection decisions.
Lateral hires (candidates with prior experience) are interviewed against the following norms :-

  1. Every candidate has to undergo at least 2 rounds of interview by a panel consisting of Associate/s at his/her next level of reporting for the position being considered.

  2. Every candidate must be interviewed by an HR representative.

  3. The candidates will be assessed against Functional and Behavioral competencies.
