An IDC Small Business Overview from 1999 shows that the small business
marketplace is growing rapidly. Of the nearly 8 million companies in
the United States (defined as having less than 100 employees) more than
25% have reported a 10% or higher increase in revenue in the last year.
The study also shows the small business sector is actively looking for
cost-effective business services that deliver a high return on investment,
such as the ones offered by Headhunter.net.
