Details of Job Description

Training Period:

45 days of Classroom based training on vanilla skills like (C++, UNIX, RDBMS, Testing, Internet Technologies, etc) followed by 10 1/2 months of on-the-job training for successful candidates, within various Business Units working in the areas of Product Development, Enhancement, Customization, Testing, Custom Development & Consulting Services as shadow resources.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities - after completion of Training Period

• Prepare and review program specifications based on technical and design specifications from the manager or team leader
• Write computer programs, assemble and create unit test data to test program decision processes prior to turnover for Quality Assurance testing
• Analyze problems in terms of application system and programming requirements
• Make modifications to the programs to ensure that the program meets the specifications and conforms to the overall system
• Produce and maintain program documentation
• Perform basic investigation and research of system environments (i.e., reporting systems, switching systems, computer systems, etc.) to assist in resolving existing
• program problems or identify solutions to new business requirements
• Make necessary modifications for systems that have been centrally developed by analyzing the program, determining the problem, and applying the corrective procedure
• Establish maintenance procedures for the system
• Prepare Reports, Presentations and general administrative duties within their respective teams
• Participate in training programs
