STATE OFFICES - Senior/Junior Executives

You will be a team member in one of CII's state offices around the country, catering to customer and stakeholder needs in the locale, you will need to play a critical role in effectively managing CII's activities. Interacting with industry CEOs, especially from small and medium companies, senior government officials at various forums and levels on a variety of issues important to industry will be a key responsibility. Proven strong managerial skills, an understanding of economic issues and strong marketing and relationship building skills are essential. 3-5 years of relevant experience for junior positions and 10-12 years of relevant experience for senior positions is desirable.

DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT - Advisor

You will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing an appropriate documentation management system for the CII network and especially at CII's headquarters, for both external and internal customers. You will be required to work very closely with the CII library and the Chief knowledge.

Officer of the organization, Suitable candidates should have an advanced degree in library sciences and at least 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.

ADMINISTRATION - Senior / Junior Executives

You will be responsible for overseeing various administrative functions of CII, e.g. event management, negotiating and undertaking liaison work with vendors, asset management, banqueting, housekeeping, handing of travel desk, etc.

A graduate degree, proven administrative capability, with 3-5 years relevant experience for the junior position and 10-12 years relevant experience for the senior position are preferred.

This group is responsible for the strategic planning and growth of the organization. Senior Executive: You will head the entire corporate communication activity. Including coordination with the media / press and advertising agencies, managing the public relations function and the publications /printing work. Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience is essential.

Executive - Media & Public Relations: Responsibilities will include formulation of media strategy, coordination with the media / press. An excellent rapport with the media, ad agencies, apart from written and verbal communication skills is essential. A degree in mass communications / journalism with 4-6 years experience will be preferred.

Editorial Executive: You will be responsible for publishing the corporate journal and all other publications, apart from written communication. Media professionals with 3-5 years experience with a background in economics / finance preferred.

Graphic Designer: You will be responsible for all design work related to the corporate journal, reports, newsletters and other publications brought out regularly. Minimum experience of 4-5 years in publishing house / advertising agency is essential.

Speech Writer: You will be responsible for drafting speeches, articles, reports and other written material. An excellent grasp of the English language with a flair for writing is necessary with 3-5 years of experience. You will be required to independently research read material and use the Internet.

HUMAN RESOURCES - Head of Department

As Head, you will be responsible for managing the human resources function within CII, which covers the entire gamut of issues such as human resource planning, recruitment, performance measurement and feedback, skill development and training, etc. 10-15 years relevant experience and excellent inter-personal skills are essential.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY- TECHNICAL SUPPORT - Senior Executive, Executives

You will be responsible for resource management of the organization's hardware, software, networking and email systems. Candidates for the senior positions should be well versed with Linux, Windows NT and Lotus Notes as well as other Microsoft products. Candidates for the junior positions must have working experience as network engineers and proven ability in managing corporate e-mail systems. Possession of skills in Internet architecture, SQL Server and Windows NT solutions are essential.

You will be responsible for interfacing with CII's stakeholder - the 4100-strong corporate membership - and exploring new avenues for enhancing customer service and improving customer satisfaction.

You will be a team member in a department and trained to independently handle projects, proactively address issues pertaining to your stream of work, prepare status and strategy reports and conceptualize and organize relevant training programmes. Post graduates / MBAs/ marketing professionals with 1-2 years industry experience are preferred. Working knowledge of computers is a must.
