Economic Development Board
The Economic Development Board plays a significant role in planning and implementing economic strategies for industry development and services promotion. Active investment and business promotion are priorities in ensuring a conducive and competitive business environment. The EDB works with other government agencies to ensure that relevant infrastructure and key manpower capabilities are available for industry and business.

 

 

 

National Science & Technology Board
Established in 1991, the NSTB is commissioned to spearhead the drive towards strengthening Singapore's competencies through R&D.; The NSTB aims to champion and facilitate initiatives to develop a conducive environment, stimulating knowledge creation in, and the enterprising use of science and technology.

 

Singapore Trade Development Board
Established in 1983 to develop and promote Singapore's international trade, the TDB sizes up Singapore companies' opportunities in the global marketplace. With a network of 30 offices worldwide and trade and investment missions that roam the globe, TDB identifies and pioneers new and emerging markets, identifies and develops product and service niches, acts as a matchmaker between Singapore and international companies, and provides incentives and other assistance schemes and programmes to help companies design, manufacture, develop and market goods and services.

 

Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore
The CAAS was established in September 1984 to spearhead the development of civil aviation in Singapore.  Its mission is "To provide the highest standard in Safety, Quality and Service in civil aviation and airport operations".

 

 

Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore
As the Regulator of Singapore's port and maritime industries, the MPA's mission is to spearhead the country's development as a major port and international maritime centre.
