May, 2001 marked a proud day for YCH when its CEO and MD, Mr. Robert
Yap was conferred the Doctor of Philosophy in Business
Administration Honoris Causa by the Wisconsin International
University. Mr. Yap was awarded for his leadership and contribution
to the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. This is the highest
academic honour awarded in the American educational system.
The
special convocation was held at the Four Seasons Hotel, where Dr
John Buuck, President of the Wisconsin International University and
Dr. John Lim, Asia Director of American Universities Foundation,
presided over the ceremony. Each year 7 doctorates are awarded
across Asia.
