Develop printer connectivities, printing solutions and utilities for HP color Inkjet printers
Enhance existing investments in printer languages, memory management, I/O, color and imaging, user interface, software installation and localization
Lead the development of internet printing solutions for HP
Develop tools and platforms to support an advanced product development environment
Keep track of latest software and data communication technologies and apply them effectively
Good command of C, C++ and Windows programming
Knowledge of one or more of the following would be an added advantage:
- device drivers development
- HP e-speak (in Java) development
- Programming in XML and its variations, e.g. WML
- Oracle PL/SQL programming
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Win32/64 programming in Windows NT/2000 environment
Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving ability
Good interpersonal and communication skills

R&D Embedded Software Engineers / Senior Engineers (HP2-I)
Master's/Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or
Computer/Applied Science with min.3 years' relevant experience
Design and develop robust, high quality embedded software code for new HP Inkjet printers
Develop leading-edge image processing, compression, printer language and mechatronic technologies for use in HP Inkjet printers
Work with Quality department to thoroughly test and qualify the code
Keep up-to-date with the latest printer technologies and apply them effectively into HP Inkjet printers
Strong working knowledge of ‘C’ is a must. Familiarity with IBM PC, MSDOS/Windows and UNIX operating systems
Experience in embedded programming of microprocessor and microcontrollers
Good knowledge of embedded code development process, tools and concept preferred
Strong interest and commitment to an R&D career

Senior Analog IC Designer (Intelligent Inverter Group) (O2M3-I)

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics or Master of Science in Engineering Electrical/Electronics with 3-5 years' experience in designing Analog ICs. Supervise/lead an R & D design team.
Design and test the integrated circuit in line with the architecture
Perform design verification on ICs
Work with application, layout and fabrication engineering; capable of performing project management
Familiar with Pspice and Hspice
Experience with product cycle from design to production is needed
OP Amp, Comparator, Oscillator, Bias, PLL are essential
Candidates with 1-2 years' experience in designing Analog ICs will be considered for Analog IC Designer position

Firmware Engineer (Intelligent DJ Group) (O2M4-I)

Bachelor of Computer Science/Master of Science in Computer Science with minimum 3 years' experience in firmware
Responsible for designing and developing application circuitry for
DSP-based system-on-chip products
Debug DSP-based ICs in notebook systems
Design and build evaluation and emulation boards, IC characterization and measurements
Maintain specifications, application notes and errata write-up, interface with customers and resolve technical issues
Familiar with C, x86, RISC assembly, 8051, ARM architecture
Experience in ucode or firmware design in embedded systems for MPEG encoder/decoder or DSP preferred

System Engineer (Intelligent E-Commerce Group) (O2M5-I)
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics with minimum
1 year experience in PC system design
Perform the FPGA hardware emulation to prove the design concept
Design the FPGA platform VHDL/Verilog coding and simulation for FPGA emulation design
Must have PC M/B or add-on peripheral card design, plus the hardware emulation FPGA (Xilinix, Altera) experience
Familiar with ORCAD, Verilog/VHDL tools

Logic Design Engineer (Intelligent E-Commerce Group) (O2M6-I)
Bachelor in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics or Master of Science in Electrical/Electronics with minimum 1 year experience in digital ASIC design
Study and understand the design specification
Design coding, RTL simulation & verification and synthesize & compile into gate-level netlist
Check timing simulation and static timing; generate the simulation bench and vector and develop the necessary model for verification

Supervise/lead an R&D design team
Manage resources, project schedules and communicate with
