IIDC engineers products in several areas in Network Operation Software (NOS) and IP Core Switching (CORE) with full product responsibility. Major products handled by IIDC in the NOS area include the world renowned Navis family of Network Management Systems, the next generation Lucent universal NMS currently under development, operations support and billing systems, and the NMS for the GSM Operation. IP Core Switching products to be handled by IIDC include Lucent's market-leading Frame Relay and ATM core switches that power the Internet backbone. Future work in the IP Core area will focus on leading edge technologies for the next generation IP networks.
