INFRASTRUCTURE
Oman has an excellent infrastructure in terms of roads with multi-lanes and sleek, fast moving cars. On the highways the average speed of a vehicle would be around 140 kms per hr. Some of the latest state-of-the-art vehicles are in use in the country. GTO controls the telecommunication facilities in the country and from November 25, 1996 Oman is on the Internet.
