Dubai

The state of Dubai is part of the federation called UAE on the Persian gulf coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It is an Emirate viz. ruled by an Emir, or Monarch --- Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. (The United Arab Emirates comprises Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Umm Al Qwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah. They have a common policy for foreign affairs, defence and social services. Internal affairs are autonomous.
