CLIMATE

Chennai has a humid maritime climate. The sea breezes change direction bringing relief. During very humid times Chennai is a pain. But evenings are usually pleasant.

Temperatures: Usually hover around 29-30 degrees Celsius.

Rainfall: Chennai has two monsoons, southeast and northwest. Between July and September the all India monsoons rain down: again in October-December it rains a bit with a great deal of thunder and lightning.
