Storage (Job Code: S-1)
Experience in the following areas: Storage
Device driver & driver interface development
Firmware Development for storage Devices,Storage Controllers and
any other peripheral interfaces Storage
Area Manager, Backup/ Restore Software.
Testing expertise on Storage software and hardware or any other
system management or administration software.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience on Storage Area
Networking. Hands-on programming experience using C,C++, Java with
system calls. Knowledge of FC & SCSI Protocols,
SAN Management, OS Internals and Testing Experience on SAN Infrastructure.
People with above expertise
on heterogeneous OS platforms . Experience on use of software tools
such as Clearcase,
Purify and Rational Rose.
OpenView - Systems and
Operations Management (Job Code: S-2)
Development / Test infrastructure development / testing leads and
individual contributor roles. We are looking for people who are
passionate about product development, with ability to initiate creation
of products in the Operations and Application
management domain.
Experience in software components technologies, middleware and distributed
computing, with multiple platform exposure (HP-UX, Solaris, AIX,
Mainframes) and expertise across Languages (C,C++, Java). Knowledge
on OpenView technologies and remote management data collection (events,
performance and configuration) desirable. Opportunities are available
across product development / testing, Security and Build/ Configuration
/ Release Management. The role expects individuals to lead/ co-ordinate
across the product value chain.
OpenView - Communication
(Job Code: S-3)
Knowledge and experience of all stages of software development lifestyle
in Telecom / Network Management domain. Knowledge of the agent /
manager paradigm (SNMP or CMIP) is a strong plus. Specific skills
(in the order of importance) - C/C++ and associated development
tools (editor, debugger, memory leak and corruption detection tool).
UNIX flavors (HP, Sun, T64 Unix) as a standard user. Unix scripting
language (ksh, csh...). Object Oriented Design, UML and Design Patterns.
Multi-threaded software. Source Code Management tool (Clearcase
and / or Continuus). Java J2EE Web server (Apache) and servlet engine
(Tomcat). Oracle DB, OCI, SQL. UNIX administration , XML, compiler
, parsing techniques and tools (lex/ yacc), Windows development
tools.

For Manager position, besides a background in DB or Systems Internals,
prior exposure to customer interaction, task prioritization
and scheduling are required.
Utility computing (Job
Code: S-5)
Experience in one of the following sets:
i. Object Oriented methodology, J2EE/ Beans/ EJB/ JMS/ Swing/ JDBC
(including Core
Java Programming) and a strong systems and networking orientation
is an absolute must. SQL and Oracle 8i/9i and various
XML related technologies. Experience in HP-UX/ Linux/ Solaris. Knowledge
SNMP stack, JBOSS Application Server.
ii. Experience in Unix (HP-UX, Solaris, AIX or Linux) system management
skills. Experience in web programming, such as CGI/ PERL
etc. Experience with cluster products is a plus. iii. Relevant Experience
with excellent Unix skills and System Security concepts
in the operating system area.
Tru64 (Job Code: S-6)
People with 2 to 6 years experience in Unix internals, Unix Kernel,
File system, Storage, Cluster technology and Networking with strong
system programming background for various Engineering activities
(development, support, testing, release) in Tru64 Unix operating
system.
