PROJECT
MANAGERS
Should have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
in the Banking and Financial services domain ensuring conformance
to budgets, schedules and quality of delivery. Will also be responsible
for entire relationship management with customers, end- to-end project
delivery and fulfilling customer requirement through technical guidance
to the project team.
Skills required: 8-10 years of IT experience with exposure
to managing large international projects. Ability to operate within
cost and quality frameworks is a must. Excellent people management
and communication skills are essential. International exposure will
be a definite plus.Additionally, proficiency in one or more of the
skill sets mentioned below is essential.

PRODUCT
MANAGERS
Will be responsible
for the development of banking products that fulfil business needs.
Will need to lead and drive technology teams for maximum result.Responsibilities
include ensuring conformance to budget, schedules and quality of
delivery. Position will also call for interaction with customers.
Skills
required: Minimum 8 years of strong banking / financial
experience. Previous banking knowledge in cash and channel product
or initiatives is preferred. Experience in managing multiple vendors
will be an added advantage.
CONFIGURATION
MANAGERS
Will be responsible
for organization-wide configuration management practices in accordance
with established norms.
Skills
required: Over 8 years of IT experience with sound knowledge
of SDLC models, configuration management principles, quality policies,
CMM and project management.Should have hands-on experience in industry
third party configuration management tools like Clear-case (Rational
Suite of products), PVCS and VSS. Will need to support testing and
development environments.
TEST
ARCHITECTS
Will handle
consulting services for testing teams, so that test requirements
capture technology and domain content and use evolved automation
methods for exhaustive application testing.
Skills
required: Minimum 5-7 years of IT experience with specialization
in Banking and Financial services domains is desirable. Experience
in understanding architecture and identifying performance and security
issues is essential.Should have exposure in the creation and setting
up of test data, automation of regression test suites using industry
standard third party tools, configuration management and detect
management tools. Experience in providing technology / domain /
test automation consultancy to large enterprises is a plus.
TECHNICAL
SPECIALISTS
Will support Project Managers in managing multiple projects in the
Banking and Financial services domain. Responsibilities include
providing comprehensive technical guidance to project teams to meet
client requirement.
Skills required:
Minimum of 5 years IT experience essential. Exposure to banking
/ financial services environments preferred. Additionally, expertise
in one or more of the skill sets mentioned in the specialization
chart (see under the position ‘Project Managers’) is essential.
TECHNOLOGY
STANDARDS DELIVERY MANAGER
Will lead a
team of senior resources (to be set up by June 2003),to handle infrastructure
design / build activities for several key projects, and to handle
standards development for Standard Chartered Group, starting with
ISCI.Responsibility will include re-engineering of workflows and
processes of technology standards and builds. Will also need to
interact with vendors, handling negotiation and services metrics
management.
Skill
required: Minimum 10 years experience in systems infrastructure
management with wide exposure to hardware and software platforms
and familiarity with telecommunications. Excellent communication
and people management skills are necessary. Prior experience in
a multinational, multicultural environment preferred.
