VLSI and Embedded Software

Wipro technologies requires BE/B.Tech/M.Techs with 3+ years experience in VLSI and Embedded Software as experience in VLSI and Embedded Software as Project Managers, Domain Consultants, Project Leaders and Project Engineers for its development centers in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Pune.

UNIX / LINUX Platform
Experience in developing kernel programs on UNIX / Linux environment. Languages : C,C++, Tcl/Tk, Perl, Shell programming, low level debugging.

Storage technologies
SAN/NAS, Fiber Channel, Exposure to protocols like FC GS, SCSI, GigE, TCP/IP, SNMP, iSCSI, Storage Management.

Windows Platform

System programming skills on Windows platform.WIN32 API, SDK/DDK knowledge, and good programming and debugging skills in C/C++/VC++.
Knowledge of COM/DCOM/OOAD/DDI/DKI is aan added advantage.
Device Driver Development on Windows Platform for different I/O devices such as USB, Networking Adapters, Peripherals such as Printers, Scanners, NDIS/RNDIS experience.

Embedded Platform

Good C programming skills, expertise on any RTOS (VxWorks, pSOS,Symbian, Embedded WinCE or Embedded Linux).
Exposure to OOAD/UML/Rational Rose tools.
Expertise in development of devices drivers for embedded platforms.
Expertise in developing BSP for new hardware for VxWorks or other RTOS.
Usage of embedded Development tool chains such as ARM ADS or similar, use of Emulators, JTAG based Debuggers.
Good understanding of system architectures, PCI and System Bus standards.

VLSI & System Design

Expertise in architecting and implementing hardware for Embedded systems, Multimedia applications and Networking. Experience in any of the following required.

ASIC Physical design: Physical Synthesis, P&R, Physical Verification

Cell Library Development: Circuit design and Simulations, Layout, Characterization

ASIC Design and Verification: RTL development, Verification and Validationn, Simulation, Model development, Synthesis and Static Timing Analysis

High speed Board and complex FPGA implementations

Any experience in working on technologies 0.18( or below, 200 MHz+ and multi-million gate, ASIC/Soc designs, and/or Integrated product development is desirable

Telecom and Internetworking

We require Project engineers (testers & developers) and Project Managers with 3-8 years of experience in Telecom and Internetworking for our development centers in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Pune.

Unix / Linux internals

Experience in Distributed Systems, multithreading/ locking, Embedded Systems.
Experience in OS Internals, Schedulers, Memory Management, Fault Tolerance.
Good debugging skills.

Datacom/Routing/MPLS (Development/Testing)

Experience in datacom & routing (TCP/IP, BGP, PPP, OSPF/RIP & MPLS)
Configuration and Setting up Networks with Cisco Routers and enabling routing protocols.TCL/Expect Scripting, Knowledge of Ipv6.
Development/Testing of ATM/FR,IP,C/C++
Experience in TCL/TK, Expect or Perl

Wireless testing, V&V:

GSM/GPRS/CDMA/3G wireless verification and validation expertise in mobile handsets, features, applications, Network elements (BTS,BSC,RNC,SGSN,GGSN) and associated interfaces.
TCI/Tk, Perl and shell scripts is must. Experience in usage of protocol testers and network simulators such as K 1297, MA-10, a-8610 is desired.

Device Drivers

Knowledge of QA and test methodologies, Experience in working on device drivers, Unix and Win-OS's
Experience in embedded software testing, automotive domain knowledge preferred.

Testing engineers- Storage

Exposure to load/stress testing and various test methodologies, tools (Rational test manager), Unix internals and shell programming.
Experience in Java,XML,JAXP (XML parser), Tcl/Tk, socket programming, RMI and Database.
Experience in Windows/Solaris preferred.

NMS Engineers
