POSITION PROFILES

Technical Managers / Project Managers
Qualifications: BE/M.Tech/MCA. You would have the overall responsibility for the project, including providing technical direction, line management and people management. You need to be able to execute and monitor projects. An ability to lead and motivate high potential project teams to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables is a must.

Technical Leaders
Qualifications: BE/M.Tech/MCA. As a technical leader for a module/subsystem, you would need to do high level design and technical planning for the complete development cycle, after interacting with the customer to develop functional specifications. Familiarity with software engineering, process framework, testability, quality is a prerequisite for the role.

Software Engineers/Senior Software Engineers
Qualifications: BE/M.Tech/MCA. An experienced technical team member, contributing not only to low level design, coding, testing, integration, review and documentation, but also towards guiding freshers. Theoretical knowledge of computer science fundamentals, communication systems, real-time techniques, and software engineering standards required.

TECHNICAL DOMAINS

Software Configuration Management
4-8 year's experience with a strong background in Clear Case and Multisite implementation & management. Should have had hands-on experience on load building, Unix and Pearl.

Network Management
2-9 years of relevant experience in Operations Administration and Maintenance. Should have strong skills in C++, Corba, EJB, J2EE, Weblogic. XML and RDBMS. Experience in OOAD, UML, OAM real-time environment, MIB, SNMP is a must . Good knowledge of OSS (Operation Support Systems), Network Management System, Service Management, Assurance & Provisioning and tolls like Optiomizelt, Jprobe, Jtest is desirable.

Wireless - UMT/3G
3-9 years of experience in telecom, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in wireless technologies.

• Skills - Strong skills in C++, OO
• Environment - Hands-on experience in real-time development environments like Linux VxWorks and Solaris
• Protocols - Broadband SS7 protocols, UMTS RNC (ALCAP, UNI, NNI) signaling protocols, ATM GRE/IP protocols. Experience in call load generator and UMTS network elements simulation is desirable.

Hand-held Devices
2-5 years of relevant experience in hand-held devices is required

• Programming Skills - VC++, C++
• Application - Instant Messaging, Presence, HTTP, WAP, ML-Browser
• Standards - IMPS, OMA standards
• Environment - Symbian, e-linux, J2ME.
